Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup (175 mL) Carnation® Regular, 2% or Fat Free Evaporated Milk
  • 1/4 cup (50 mL) lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup (50 mL) regular or low fat mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup (50 mL) green onions, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) salt
  • 1/2 tsp (2 mL) dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup (1 mL) Worcestershire sauce

Directions

Step 1:

Combine Carnation® Evaporated Milk and lemon juice. Reserve

Step 2:

Place remaining ingredients in food processor or blender. Add reserved Carnation® mixture. Process until well combined. Refrigerate until ready to use.

Tips

When you combine Carnation® Evaporated Milk with lemon juice or plain vinegar you have an excellent replacement for buttermilk.

Use as a dip with raw vegetables.
