Ingredients

  • 4 boneless chicken breasts, pounded to an even thickness
  • 1/4 cup (50 mL) olive oil
  • 2 tsp (10 mL) Dijon mustard
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tsp (1 mL) chili flakes (optional)
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Step 1:

Place chicken in a medium size bowl.

Step 2:

Combine olive oil, mustard, garlic and chili flakes. Pour over chicken and toss to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for 15 minutes or overnight.

Step 3:

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 4:

Place chicken on prepared sheet, sprinkle with salt and bake in preheated oven 20-25 minutes.

Step 5:

Pour Cheddar Broccoli Sauce over chicken when served.

Tip

Replace chicken breasts with boneless thighs.
