Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups (375 mL) Carnation® Simple White Sauce
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup (50 mL) chicken stock
- 2 oz (56 g) bacon or pancetta, chopped (1/4 cup / 50 mL)
Directions
Step 1:
Prepare Carnation Simple White Sauce as directed. Add Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted. Stir in chicken stock.
Step 2:
Cook bacon or pancetta in a skillet, until crisp, about 2-3 minutes. Add to white sauce and stir until combined.

Tips
This sauce can be made up to 2 days ahead. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use. If sauce has thickened just add a tablespoon (15 mL) of chicken stock or water at a time until you get the desired consistency.
Pancetta can be found at the deli counter of your grocery store.
Delicious over chicken, fish, beef or pork.
Try over your favourite vegetables.
